The Digital Platforms Industry Association (DPIA) welcomes URA-LTA’s release of the Advisory Note to Facilitate Safe and Efficient Delivery Pick-Ups at Commercial Malls. DPIA members contributed through consultations to address concerns our riders partners have raised in individual and industry-wide feedback sessions.

Based on the findings of DPIA’s Cross-Platform Industry Survey (CPIS), issues regarding parking were one of our rider partners’ key concerns. We appreciate the opportunity to collaborate with URA and LTA on this joint circular, and hope this circular would be a first step to addressing a common challenge riders face on ground.

Through the adoption of URA and LTA’s proposed measures, DPIA hopes commercial malls will support these efforts to create a smoother delivery experience for our rider partners. DPIA also looks forward to continued partnership with government agencies and all relevant stakeholders to optimise our rider partners’ working environment and enhance their well-being.
